Exciting Update from Luminex!

Genk, Belgium, April 2, 2024 – Luminex will be showing many new and exciting things at two upcoming tradeshows: the NAB show in Las Vegas and the Expo-Scene in Montreal, Canada.

The new boundary clock features in GigaCore switches enabled by a firmware update for both the new and legacy generations allow for a more flexible and scalable PTP protocol handling between PTP Grandmaster and PTP-client devices.

Ensuring PtPV2 /AES67/Ravenna clock signals in larger setups run simultaneously with other, different clocking protocols in separate Groups (VLANS), for example, as gPTP for AVB/MILAN and PTPv1.

The advanced networking features in LumiNode and LumiCore let you separate visiting guest setups from the main house setup easily and intuitively. Offering additional control and security for lighting setups.

New features in Araneo software now support the accurate monitoring of MANet3 devices and visualize session information, data streams, and more. Thus, additional information about essential parameters is added to those setups that use MANet 3 equipment.

And, of course, the recently launched new GigaCore pro-AV ethernet switch for touring and installing applications, GigaCore 16i, will also be on display.
