VEXO110A 10″ High performance 2-way active loudspeaker
10″ High performance 2-way active loudspeaker
The VEXO series are compact high-performance 2-way active loudspeakers and come in 3 different models, each of them with different sizes and performances meeting the requirements of every application. The low-frequency transducer, which is made out of high-quality materials, is combined with a 1.7” voice coil compression driver, enabling high sound pressure levels and a tight driver response with a rotatable 90° x 70° coverage pattern for a wide range of applications.
Thanks to the unique driver composition, the VEXO110A delivers a clear and natural sound with an RMS power of 300 Watts and a maximum power of 1200 Watt. The frequency response (±3dB) starts from 65Hz up to 20 kHz and the sensitivity (1W/1m) reaches 96dB while a maximum continuous sound pressure level from 121dB can be achieved.
When not in use, the active versions of the VEXO series devices automatically go into an energy-saving standby mode. This means that active versions can also be used in fixed installations, as there is no need to physically shut them down after each use.
The construction of the cabinets is made of 12mm plywood with a polyurethane coating, making them resistant to any impact. The front side of the cabinet is finished with a powder-coated steel grill with acoustical foam. A recessed carry handle on the rear side makes carrying easy. Positioning and suspension of the speaker are easily achieved by using the standard 35 mm pole adapter on the bottom and the M10 rigging points. Two speaker connectors provide reliable connections with easy link-through to cabinets.
The optional Clever U bracket allows mounting the high power 2-way cabinet both horizontally and vertically. An inclination of -90° to +35° ensures an optimal positioning. The optional MBK bracket even allows mounting the VEXO series to the ceiling which gives the opportunity to install the loudspeaker cleanly in any environment.
By installing the optional ANI44XT Dante™ audio network interface in the active loudspeaker, the VEXO series can be integrated into any Dante-enabled AV network and transfer digital audio with any compatible solution on the market.
When the ANI44XT is installed the VEXO series will be compatible with AUDAC Touch™ and TouchLink™. Used for creating virtual zones by linking multiple compatible devices with each other. In AUDAC Touch™ you can select multiple amplifier channels that should react to the user as one zone.
The VEXO110A features the unique WaveDynamics™ innovation. Due to this DSP processor, the audio control and processing technology enable any user to effortlessly control the most advanced acoustic configurations. The integrated DSP allows pre-sets for full-range, satellite, and custom configurations and can be loaded via the USB slot on the back of the device. The AUDAC Touch™ application allows to equalize and create personalized presets and control the equipped VEXO loudspeakers. When installing the ANI44XT, all personalized presets and settings can be adjusted from anywhere at any time.

WaveDynamics Technology
Total control of your audio system
WaveDynamics™ is an audio control and processing technology implemented in AUDAC amplifiers. Thanks to the powerful DSP processor that is built in the amplifiers it can deliver effortless control over the most advanced acoustic configurations.
A complete library of AUDAC loudspeaker and set solution presets is available for your projects, making it easy as picking the right file, loading it & playing! Besides the optimal acoustic configurations, this library also includes the loudspeaker performance parameters providing bulletproof protection for them.
CONTROLLABILITY
The operation and configuration of WaveDynamics™ can be done in multiple ways. The most obvious way is by using the front panel controls, featuring a Scroll-Push control™ and channel selection buttons with a clear and intuitive user interface on the 2.5” graphical LCD display.
The integration of the audio system into home and industrial automation systems is made easy through the RS232 connection & control port whereby functions such as input switching, volume adjustment, etc. can be controlled.
FLEXIBILITY
Each of the input connections can be patched to any amplifier channel and contains software controllable gain. The different implementations of the in- and output connectors allow the easiest way of connection for every application while allowing signal links through to other amplifiers.
PROTECTION
Optimal protection is not only required for the listener’s satisfaction but can also be important for complying with the imposed regulations and guaranteeing the lifetime of the equipment. Because of this, protection precautions are implemented in different ways.
Firstly, user access is made possible on different levels. The device can be blocked or accessed at the user or administrator level. Different levels allow different configuration and control functions, giving limited (Eg: only volume) control access to standard users and full configuration control to administrators. User restriction can be enabled and disabled and is given through a password and/or USB key.
Secondly, equipment protection is implemented by an output limiter which monitors the output power of every channel and will intervene when the output exceeds a certain level. The corresponding level can be software configured and is indicated in Watts. When the output limiter is configured at the maximum power of the loudspeaker, you can rest assured that the loudspeakers won’t be blown during your absence.
Lastly, the maximum volume for every channel can be set independently. This prevents users (having volume access) from going over the limit. This can help you to keep the system compliant with imposed regulations and maintain a good relationship with the neighbors.
EFFICIENCY
The switching mode power supply and Class-D amplifier technology in combination with the auto-standby mode for each separate amplifier channel bring an end to the era of the power-hungry amplifiers. In addition, these features also result in a lightweight amplifier that benefits the customer when used in mobile applications.

TOUCHLINK
Create virtual zones by linking multiple TouchLink™ compatible devices.
TouchLink™ is an ingenious system that can be used for creating virtual zones by linking multiple TouchLink™ compatible devices with each other. In AUDAC Touch™ 2 you can select multiple devices or amplifier channels that should react to the user as one zone.
A typical application example is a large open area where multiple (compatible) amplifiers are used. When they are virtually linked, all devices or amplifier channels with the same TouchLink™ assigned zone will be following each other’s settings (including volume, input, muting, …).
It means, if they are all installed throughout the same area, they all will be simultaneously operated by one single control (e.g. volume fader) from the AUDAC Touch™ 2 app. Additionally, a wall panel that is physically connected to one of the linked devices will automatically control all the linked devices.
A number shall be assigned as a TouchLink™ zone (e.g. 1, 2, 3, …) and all devices with the identical TouchLink™ ID will virtually work as one zone.
DURACOAT
Maintain the same stunning performance under all conditions
This textured paintwork provides a weatherproof and scratch-resistant coating. It is specially designed for outdoor applications. Thanks to its UV resistance, the cabinets will not lose their color or paint strength after years of outdoor use.
